Remember how in the '90s, we had trailer parks everywhere? Where you could pay a couple hundred bucks in space rent, and sure, it wasn't pretty - there were a lot of drugs and crime - but at least it was civilization?

What happened to those? Why is it that nowadays, your only two options are a $2000 rent payment or a plywood shack?

i dont know much about trailer parks, but i have ran across a couple of people that would park their rv's in trailer parks and i got the idea that they pay $600 - $800 per month just to park and live there. i could be way off base with those numbers, but also maybe my estimates are low.

either way, you dont get to sit down in the world today if you dont pay... i know because i spent about twenty years of my life homeless.

one cool trick that i learned while homeless... go to a starbucks, there will usually be paper coffee to go cups outside somewhere with an inch or so of coffee inside.. grab the coffee, go inside, park my sweaty ass in one of their nice leather chairs.. then accidentally spill the coffee on the floor.. they nice starbucks workers will come mop it up and they will also bring me a fresh cup of FREE COFFEE.. and then if i have fifty cents, i get a refill and i get to sit in the starbucks and work on my programming project and drink my free coffee.
