I was there once in August and you also have roaches running across the pavement in front of you.

Yeah, it's not like any other city I've been to.

I think rats and roaches are a common issue in most every big city.

Even the supposedly "wow it's so clean" cities people rave about that aren't New York, you go out at night you'll see all sorts of rats scurrying around.

You don't see them scurrying around so much in the country for one reason, there are owls and shit that will eat them.
