If you believe in trans rights to GRS, you have to accept this too. I would allow for adults but not paid by taxpayers.

So, you want them to take out insurance (which doesn't exist) first such that the government is not on the hook? That would probably mean it's only for rich people.

I am not saying I agree or disagree, but if people are dying on the street, there is some sort of obligation to save them in most countries.

I think it's way more justified than transitions.

With a transition, you're creating problems such as the bathroom "situation".

With amputation, the problems stay with yourself.

It has the same concerns as transition though. Even if an adult is responsible for his decisions, professionals have to walk him through with it to make sure he undertstands what's he's doing. Because the health industry will get $$$ from this though I think it's better just not legalizing it.

Plus even if the health industry getting $$$$ from it wasn't a concern, there would still need to be the doctor morality in certain cases. I think someone cutting their arm is """fine""" but making yourself blind is too much. It's also very disrespectful for actual blind people.

Only on LGBTQ+ people. Cut that shit off as soon as possible. Then let them deal with it over the years.

on the one hand the principle of autonomy is used to deduce the right for body modifications; on the other hand, well we don't have another hand any more.
