So you now admit that at least for this, it's almost all natural talent, and effort and practice have very little impact.

Truly I tell you, nearly every other pursuit in life is no different. And I am poor in every area, and every single person who's like-minded to me is savant-like in every area.

There is natural talent involved in art, but I only have a little and generally for cartoonish stuff. I was never the top kid in art class. There's techniques and tricks you learn and practice is important. Like this drawing is composed of 5 primitive shapes, all circles/ovals. The main face, two eyes, the snout, and the cheeks. It started off looking something like this. Pretty much everything can be broken down into circles, triangles, and squares. You work with a basic outline, add details, erase lines you don't need, ink it over, and then erase all the pencil guide lines.

I'm aware of that. Even still, it's nearly impossible for me. My brain is not able to visualize properly, nor translate what I can.

And in everything, I'm simply not clever enough. For example I'll think long and hard about a programming problem that seems impossible, which everyone else can solve in minutes. Despite my love for it my creativity is abominably low, and keeps fading.

It feels like Parkinson's disease for the brain. At some point I'll be completely helpless, and I think it will eventually kill me. I'm barely functioning as it is, though I've learned to keep up appearances so others don't penalize me even more for not having it all together.

I didn't do the fox. I mean mine is a quick drawing but it's about my level of skill. I'm not as talented as Jason.

I was looking for a good video about using primitive shapes for drawing and after looking at like 6 shitty videos I thought I could find an infographic instead.... And that's where I found it.

In any case I've now proven that improvement at least in this endeavor is absolutely impossible. Even you can see that through your own experience. It is what it is. And I can testify that it's no different for any other pursuit. Even happiness itself is a talent that only some have (hint: not me).
