I attended a historically black college, which was 30% white. It was funny as most of the white students were either state residents or vets using the GI Bill (me), and honestly, never had an issue on campus. The only people that complained were some of the professors and the editor of the newspaper (whose family was pretty well off, which was a pattern I saw more than a few times; the richer the black kid, the more militant they were). No one else had an issue outside the usual "white people, blah blah blah, oh, not you though, you're one of the good ones." Even had an African professor who hated the American black kids and loved me and the only other white guy in class. "They are rude, they do not do the work, and they are lazy!"
