This is not a college or researcher claiming this, it is the world's largest battery manufacturer. That's a creddible source.

I've heard this claim many times in the past several years, but nothing has come of any of them.

You heard it from colleges and researchers who are looking for funding and don't have integrity. You never heard it from a brand name battery manufacturer.
