In herd species usually only the alpha male procreates. And so it is still somewhat with humans; that's why we have "chads" who get a huge chunk of the girls.

But what is the point? The gnostics were right. Nature is bad. The game of life is evil. Why treat it as divine?

Those who intend to procreate will do anything to succeed. They will rape, murder, fake everything about themselves, harm others, betray, deceive, seduce, slander, and are willing to do all things under the sun for it. All things most people do, they do to increase their attractiveness. To move up on the dating totem pole. To impress the opposite sex. Men chase after meaningless status symbols: money, cars, houses, muscles, sports, shoes, emotionlessness, never getting help, and showing no weaknesses whatsoever. Women chase after meaningless status symbols: clothes, skinniness, daintyness, unrealistic standards in beauty and housekeeping. All virtue signal, judge, put others down, and even cause harm. They will even seek to destroy their most beloved if they feel inferior to them. How is this any less predatory?

The problem is the world. The flesh is hardwired to seek one goal, and one goal only: its own survival first, then its own wellbeing; along with its offspring, and in herd species, sometimes its tribe also. Others are nothing but pawns and tools; it pretends to be good to them only as long as doing so benefits itself. And the flesh is made of matter, and even matter itself is evil. For even the stars and planets and galaxies battle and destroy each other for dominion. And the world and flesh itself is a prison, a prison in which you have very little choice and are conditioned to think of that as normal; and even what little choice you do have is only an illusion. And the same for good; nearly all the "good" in this world is a lie, appearing good on the surface but at its core it's just another rotten thing.
