I didn't say that they where. What they do have is massively disproportionate representation in key government, banking and entertainment sectors and a track record of degenerative practices that are terrible for everyone else.

I lose nothing by pretending that they are the boogie men and from a marketing perspective it's easier to sell to the public than the true more elaborate explanation.

And then that pretend explanation gets used to justify hating Jews, and eventually genocide. People will believe anything, so even if you think they won't understand the truth, you're probably right, but they'll subscribe to it anyway.

For instance would a world with a severely reduced population known for subversion really be that bad?
