Hate is not racist either. What is the point?

[–]In-the-clouds[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

The Wicked World Web is full of propaganda trying to divide people into groups, so they will fight and engage in a race war.

The point: Love is not racist. And unless you love your neighbor as yourself, you have no part in the kingdom of heaven.

I don't need the internet to divide people into groups. It is easy to do just walking down the street.

And who is your neighbor according to the bible? I think you have the wrong idea.

First, it says to love your neighbor as you love yourself. If I loved every one as I do myself, by my own standards, I would have to beat up at least 90% of the world in order to wake them up. My standards dictate that I do not actively associate with people who are weak, pathetic, self destructive and degenerate. And I do not mean people at the bottom of their lives struggling to survive, I mean 90% of the sheep out there who are ruining it for every one. If they were me and I was them, I would want them to kick the shit out of me.

mathew 7 12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Second, you seem to mistaken neighbor for everyone. In Luke 10, when he talks about the good Samaritan, he explains in detail that the samaritan helped someone who had the literal shit kicked out of him by an evil entity. The status of the man who was beat up is unknown and not relevant. We are not to judge those who have been destroyed and need help. But what about the man who beat him up? Would you have helped him beat up the man? Are you going to help people spread sin and degeneracy into the world? Are you going to give your money reserved for the poor to the rich and evil? If those people hit rock bottom maybe. But until then they are not your neighbor. Your neighbor does not point a gun at you.

who is your neighbor according to the bible?

That would be whoever is in your range of influence.

You gave the story of the good Samaritan as an example of a neighbor. The Samaritans and the Jews did not live together, but the Samaritan stopped to help the man who was robbed and left as dead, so Jesus said the Samaritan was his neighbor. If you see someone in need and you have the power to help, that person is your neighbor.

I would have to beat up at least 90% of the world

Remember this as you see God's judgements coming down on unrepentant man, and do not be angry with him for doing what you said you yourself would do. He will shake them awake. Many will die. Many will experience tribulation unlike ever seen, nor will ever be seen again. It has already begun. Many souls will be lost, but a few will repent before it is too late. And it for their sakes that God will allow the destruction. Some will wake up, repent, and turn to Jesus for salvation.

If they were me and I was them, I would want them to kick the shit out of me.

The good Samaritan did not do this, but bandaged the man's wounds, brought him to an inn and paid for his care. You would do well to take his example of true neighborly love.

But what about the man who beat him up? Would you have helped him beat up the man?

God commands us to love our fellow man, not help him sin. Of course, we should not help people to carry out evil plans. Love is not always giving our neighbor what they want, but giving them what they need. One way to show love for our fellow man with evil plans is to pray for them: pray that they would repent, pray that their eyes, ears, and heart would be opened to God's truth. Prayer is powerful.

thus:

I would have to beat up at least 90% of the world

The good Samaritan did not do this

And what about the people who did?

Why do you want to take the place of God? The Bible tells even soldiers to do violence to no man. Give up on your wrath, because revenge belongs to the Lord. When did Jesus ever physically beat people? He is the perfect example of how a man should live on earth to become one with God. He and the Father are one. If you want to be where the Father is, you should amend your ways to be more like Jesus. The adversary of your soul is the thief, the killer, and the destroyer. If you take on the adversary's attributes, you stand no chance when the adversary comes after you... no chance at all if you have rejected the way of the Savior.

The good Samaritan did not do this And what about the people who did?

The people that robbed and beat the man, leaving him for dead, did not love their neighbor. They only loved themselves and served themselves. They did the will of God's adversary.

....But there is only one true and living God. There are many books: some are holy, and some lead to damnation. God's word is holy and he is not trapped inside a book. He is everywhere.

The hungry hungry caterpillar leads you damnation?

Why do you want to take the place of God?

No, we are talking about treating others as I would want to be treated. If I was a sack of shit I would want someone to beat some sense into me too.

The people that robbed and beat the man, leaving him for dead, did not love their neighbor.

So, were they also your neighbor?

[–]In-the-clouds[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

If I was a sack of shit I would want someone to beat some sense into me too.

If you want to judge others to be worthy of this beating, then you place yourself in the role of God, who is the judge. Jesus said, judge not lest you be judged. With the same measure you judge others, the same shall God use to judge you. And really, you do not want to get a beating from God.

Instead on judging who you can beat and physically injure, why not focus on those that need loving care? There are so many people that need to be loved, and they are in need of care. I don't know why you are confused about this. I saw this video and this guy reminds me of you.

[–]Anman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

With the same measure you judge others

.

the same measure

If God has issues with me I ask that he beat them out of me. He has provided with me a traumatic life and as such I have no time for pussy footing. Fix me instantly and obviously.

People today are too selfish, ignorant and degenerate to respond to just a stern talking to. They need life changing experiences that usually involve intense physical, mental or emotional trauma to change. I just say "beating" as it's a simple way to describe violent and instant action. I will be there when they need help after their "beating". But until then these people are the source of evil in the world and I will only help them when they are at the bottom of a pit. Like the good samaratin story. The story does not say that he helped every one he came across. I would also believe he would rebuke and fight against great evil when he saw it.

I was not able to watch that vid as it never buffered.
