These kind of pageants aren't only about attractiveness any more.

They're about personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement ... that sort of shit.

And attractiveness varies for different beholders. Perhaps some of the judges were big into plus-sized transgender Vietnamese chicks.
