Yes porn literacy is the next culture war issue I think. Expect the same problems. Pedophiles using it to get at kids. Retarded teachers that can't think for themselves letting it happen.

Here's an idea. Maybe pornography is kinda bad for society and it should be heavily discouraged? The free speech argument is one for which I'll claim it shouldn't be banned outright, but is there any reason that anyone should be allowed to provide it for anyone under the age of 18? I say no. And is there any reason to allow adult websites to get away with the "are you really 18?" Honor system.

Kids will get around it and that will be what it is but why should we make it easy for them. Why not bring porn shaming back? If you're watching porn instead of having sex what's wrong with you?

I agree with that it shouldn't be banned outright, but I would like for x-rated material should be made more ethical. Like, I'd like certain categories not be a thing (like adolescent, incest, non-consensual). I also think it should be harder for minors to access, because some are even little kids when they accidentally find it.

I'm against banning porn. But it should be kept as far away from children as possible. Knowingly supplying porn to a child should be a serious criminal offence. And yes, bring back porn shaming. Not that I have anything against adults watching porn, but I don't want it being promoted.

Or you could just not let your children have smartphones until they are 18.

You can give a child a feature phone until he's ready to use a smartphone.

Critical Childhood Studies informs us that Gatekeeping is dangerous and children can totally have sex with adults as long as it's in a loving relationship. I wish I were joking. Coming soon to a school near you.

If you read this and can't understand it is grooming the children to be abused, please sterilize yourself before you have children.

I like how you generate an entire worldview based on total ignorance of the subject and my expertise on it.

It's happening. Stop trying to convince us to let you touch the children.

but the real question is why are you so intent on letting children be fucked in classrooms by paying clients?

You're the one who wants to poo-poo the idea of actual events like porn literacy being taught

By law, in my jurisdiction, nobody under the age of 16 can consent, and nobody under the age of 18 shouldn't be exposed to x-rated material. This means they should be charged with indecent exposure at the very least, because they are showing material to adolescents and children that cannot consent and/or shouldn't be exposed to x-rated material. I don't think anybody should be teaching heterosexual or homosexual sex-ed to individuals under the age of 16. eta: I also don't think you should show x-rated materials at all, because it is content that shouldn't be shown to adolescents and children (including some 18 & 19 yos still in high school). I do think the adult industry is very unethical.

When you see others in this forum that are sexually liberated and have devoted their life to atheism or to some satanic bullshit .. they WERE victims of grooming.

              Lol

Just before I became an atheist I was hyper religious because I thought if I got involved and studied it then religion would eventually make sense. It never did.

Just fyi, I do not care what you believe or do not believe.

I couldn't care if you burst into flames.

I do however want to recommend to you that you purchase as much Twitter stock as you can afford, because it is beyond worthless.

I will sing songs of joy as that retard farm is crashing in a ball of flames.

              Yes, Twitter is worthless stock.

Just before I became an atheist I was hyper religious

Every atheist I've ever known has told me the same thing. Funny thing, that. The need to believe so firmly

              [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Atheists believe as much, maybe more than religious types though.

              [–]DevoutAgnostic 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Upon reflection, I don't think it's a question of how much or how strongly they believe—uncertainty about the source of legitimate authority seems to cause a state of dread in them so overwhelming that they'll immediately assume the opposite position just to find relief. Many a religious super-zealot begins their testimony with "I was the most hardcore atheist you'd ever meet..."

With the caveat that it can be self-abuse, I'll tend to agree with you

"It's becoming painfully obvious that teachers in Groomer Schools very frequently are using their students to fill in a vulnerable narcissistic black hole no one else in their lives will fill. They're teachers to have access to accessories to their mental illnesses." ~ James Lindsay

Seems like an extension of DARE....want to keep kids from doing drugs, teach them about drugs. Yet, in that context the concept seemed more reasonable. In reality, it failed miserably and made things worse, but mostly in my opinion, because they so overtly lied and exaggerated to kids.

              [–]RedEyedWarrior 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Lying and exaggerating are the worst ways to educate a child. If anti-drugs programmes were honest, they'd be successful in preventing children from taking drugs. If a child finds out you've lied to him, he will think you are wrong about everything.

              [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

If a child finds out you've lied to him, he will think you are wrong about everything.

This is exactly what happened when I was a teenager and found out that marijuana was not going to turn me into junkie and eat holes in my brain. 'You sons of bitches lied to me and now I'm going to take all the drugs because I don't believe you'. Not to mention already being conditioned by psychiatry to believe that altering ones brain chemistry with psychoactive drugs is a perfectly responsible way to deal with your problems

              [–]RedEyedWarrior 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Most people who are junkies became junkies because they have no communities to be part of and they're bored. If a town has a strong community, there are lots of things for everyone, including teenagers and the elderly, to do, and if family members keep in touch with each other, then no one in that town will take heroine. Some people in that town may try it out, and then never take it again because they don't want to.

Look at western civilisation and you will see why there are a lot of junkies and hobos in these countries. Communities are dead, cost of living is going up, feminists tell men and boys that we suck, race baiters shit on white people, single motherhood is too common and there is too much government regulation. Which is why people take drugs. Meanwhile in Japan, virtually nobody takes drugs. Japanese women are nice, there is no race baiting, degeneracy happens only behind closed doors, the economy doesn't suck as bad and families and neighbours are cherished. Japan has a lot of problems, but nowhere near as bad as any western country. So drug use there is down.

Furthermore, doctors are government-sponsored drug dealers.

Yes a lot of these problems are magnitudes of degrees worse in western society. These problems are virtually unheard of in primitive societies, and not nearly as bad in countries like Japan. Community is a big part of this I agree

Poor little Johnny will see big dicks and realise he has a tiny pecker and little Lucy will see she'll never have a hot body. Yea, that's good for them.
