It's sad that racists fools on both sides of the racial divide, destroyed the Black Lives Matters movement, co-opting it to be some generic race issue, instead of addressing the real problem of excessive police violence.

It is unfortunate that while highlighting the excessive police violence disproportionately against minorities, that we included reference to race at all. It has lead to the misdirection of the real issue into meaningless generic racial bickering fluff, that has not resulted in meaningful police oversight, procedure updates, or accountability changes. Making BLM about race, has thrown shade on the violent cop problem. Then the DNC co-opted BLM for political attack of their opponent, by projecting 'racism' motivations, behind normal things, like finishing Obama's 2006 Secure Fence Act....really diluting their message. BLM being steered into violently rioting against the 2016 election, along with other groups, injuring police, infiltrating the capitol building fence, while others disrupted the electoral count and broke into the electoral count, was pretty messed up, but not as bad as the silence about how Jan 6, 2021 was a less violent and destructive version of Jan 6, 2017.

Police violence is not exclusive to racial minorities at all. I suspect that is disproportionately abundant towards those in poverty and whom live in poverty stricken areas, which is the root of disproportion.

I know police violence all too well personally, being harassed for a decade and involved in an actual police beating. They were a gang of drug addicted cops, who routinely jacked people for drugs. They were super pissed that us three white kids in a car had no drugs and beat everyone up, including the driver who was in handcuffs. I reaped no rewards from the weak-sauce, but successful lawsuit personally, but learned this group of white and black police officers, were well known for their drug-jacking hobby by the county/state, who turned the other cheek on it.
