However, it's still not clear that these fungi play any role in the development or progression of cancer.

neither study can definitively say if fungi actually drive these poor outcomes or if aggressive cancers just create an environment where these fungi can easily grow.

It's interesting but a lot more work needs to be done

They should take a pair of samples from the same fungus infected tumor, then inject one of them with anti-fungals and put both on petri dish cultures to see which one grows the fastest.

Testing is outdated. We are just going to roll out another untested "vaccine".
