You have to understand, people who watch these BBC nature shows don't watch them to see nature in its natural state. They watch them to feel warm fuzzies about cute little animals. Once in a while they'll show a predator catching prey, but only after saying that the babies are starving or the tribe is suffering or some shit like that. They don't show the casual brutality of nature, and with good reason. They'd get their goddamned shows cancelled and lose their jobs!
Showing the truth is the equivalent of what Frosk's spittle-flecked rant did to G4. They'll go out of business, as this story shows.
