I believe it to be a trend. Which will end. It is a carrot or red herring, so simple-minded people have something to talk about.

Some oppose it, some take part in it. (We get all the laughs for free.)

I suppose it's easier to construct a self-image from stuff other people make up and fill your inbox with than actually searching who you really are.

Searching your own identity can be really, really hard, frustrating and painful at first when you have to realize the fact that you just don't know anything about yourself. At first.

Agree 100%. The only thing in question is how bad the backlash will be. These corporations that have sort of ridden the wave, willing to embrace absolutely anything for profit (no matter how destructive); the celebrities with their ridiculous claims of "queerness"; most of the Democrat party... will they be allowed to get to the end of all this and just okey-doke their way out of any retribution? I hope not, though I'm not optimistic.
