Trans people make up only 0.03 to 0.06% of the US population

There are big problems with that number. First, there's really no such thing as "trans" beyond an acquired fetish, so calling anyone "trans" per se is inaccurate. There are people who indulge this fetish and there are people who do not, and there's an element of choice in exposing oneself to stimuli that cultivate this fetish and in then practicing it.

Second, in light of the first point, and the way gender theory is being pushed, 0.06% will soon be a radical underestimate of the people doing this crap, if it's not already.

I believe it to be a trend. Which will end. It is a carrot or red herring, so simple-minded people have something to talk about.

Some oppose it, some take part in it. (We get all the laughs for free.)

I suppose it's easier to construct a self-image from stuff other people make up and fill your inbox with than actually searching who you really are.

Searching your own identity can be really, really hard, frustrating and painful at first when you have to realize the fact that you just don't know anything about yourself. At first.

Agree 100%. The only thing in question is how bad the backlash will be. These corporations that have sort of ridden the wave, willing to embrace absolutely anything for profit (no matter how destructive); the celebrities with their ridiculous claims of "queerness"; most of the Democrat party... will they be allowed to get to the end of all this and just okey-doke their way out of any retribution? I hope not, though I'm not optimistic.

I was wondering where the numbers come from. Most fetishes are indulged behind closed curtains and that's a good place for them, I think. In this present case I see more than a fetish; I see exhibitionism, delusions of grandeur, and a strong desire to groom children in one's image. It's the later that bothers me most. When I see, on video, a few hundred of these people screaming, "Trans women are women," I wonder: are they trying to make it so and convince themselves of that obvious nonsense or are they trying to convince me? Either way I see it as pitiable that they are chasing this impossible dream and setting themselves up to fail. But then, they seem to enjoy victimhood. To cap off this ramble, we must devise a way to keep these people, with such a tenuous grasp on sanity, away from children.
