i dont think that he ever planned to purchase twitter..

please people... that piece of shit twitter is a fifty dollar website and that is how simple it is..

twitter is a basic database driven website that could be reproduced easily for a few million dollars...

twitter could be reproduced for a budget of a few thousand dollars if push comes to shove.

why would mr elon musk pay some crazy amount like $44 BILLION DOLLARS for some crap website that he could build himself?

if he were to build a site like twitter, all he would have to do is to announce it on the joe rogan show and the site would be an immediate success.

he was literally f*cking with twitter and had zero intent to purchase it.

The only value of any social media site is the user base. It doesn't matter if you make the most convenient feature packed social media site ever; until you build your user base your site might as well not exist

yes, i agree 100 percent..

for example, i could reproduce the twitter site in a few months of coding work, but if nobody knows about it or nobody uses it then it is not worth very much.

if mr elon musk were to develop a twitter/forum website app and he were to announce it on the joe rogan show and on other sites, then he would instantly have a userbase.

it would be very important that a system would need to be implemented that would prevent the bots and the hater/shill accounts from joining the new site..

the end result would be that mr musk would own a site that would take the cream from twitter and leaves the trash.

it is entirely possible that twitter stock could plummet to near zero prices.
