I have been studying this topic for decades, and am an expert in napping. This fearmongering bullshit is the last straw!!!

I'm thinking there's a difference between people who plan to have a nap and those who just randomly fall asleep against their will. Yet both will count as a nap.

No they don't. One is called passing out. Or narcolepsy. People don't just fall asleep against thier will.

My dad will fall asleep against his will 10 times during a movie he wants to see.

That's not passing out or narcolepsy.

That's being old.

Narcolepsy is some crazy shit, old friend of mine would drift off mid sentence, or end up on a bus for hours due to always missing his stop. Miss that guy, legend has it, he's still on that bus.

I've done both, and they are both naps. When I'm at home, I lay down and take a nap. When my wife is driving, I randomly fall asleep. Neither of these are related to SADS.
