Yes you do need an economics class. You are using circular logic to support a nonsense argument. You say fiat is worthless and has no value as though anything else has actual 'worth or actual value'.

Worth and value only exist as human concepts. They are used in the context of a currency to create a system of exchange that everyone can agree to use. Inflation is a measure used within that same system.
