As a child of the 1970s, you're not wrong. Blessed to have been a kid back then, and I hate what is happening to America. While you blame your generation, and certainly there is blame there, I feel like my generation let you down as well. My generation is quick to divorce, settles for cheap, poor products and experiences, and allowed corporations to buy everything up and out and act like demons.

I do think you can escape to some extent. Move to as small a town as possible. Turn off media as much as possible. Hang out with people from church as much as possible. Live in a little bit of a bubble. If that doesn't work, yeah, vengeance seems like plan b.

Religious people are disgustingly stupid.

If only there were secular churches. Like built around fishing or something.

The state is the church of the left.

We are unfortunately forced to attend services. They then use the 'number of attendees' to boost their popularity. 'See everybody loves us! They keep right on coming!' when it's secretly mandatory.

Then make like Abraham and destroy the false idols.

They did this with Windows 8 by bricking XP computers in April 2013 in a bad update then forced Windows 8 without users permission to make their computer be like a phone. They then used that to boost their numbers to show how many 'devices' installed Windows 8. After enough complaints they finally fixed the 8 shit by adding a down arrow that lets you remove a bunch of crap you don't want and added drivers but by that time so many hated 8 that MS went with 10 when they should've just had 8.1 and leave it at that. 10 wounded up being a whole new ball of wax that pretty much ended what was left of the independent software industry outside of digital download.
