Slight issue.

Nazi ideology was very much based on the fact Britain had conquer half the world and Germans saw themselves as the same race as the British. They certainly weren't basing the idea of Aryan supremacy on Germany's success.

While they saw Eastern slavs as subhuman not so much those to the south of them. And they certainly also claimed links to Roman and Greek excellence in classical times, people who had closer links to slavs than Germans.

I think people don't realise how different the various groups of Europeans looked from each other before mass media meant certain looks became fashionable ever where. People don't realise this very much can effect physical features expressed in a population. I have a photo of my Nan's class at school which was 50% Jewish immigrants and they could very well look like Indian kids to modern eyes. It was very easy for people back then to tell the difference between ethnicities and to not view fellow white Europeans as the same race.

Yeah they treated for instance the Czechs and Croats much better. The Nazis actual views on Slavs were more complicated than I understood when i wrote this initially - but this is all sort of tangential to the main point which is that The Allies did not have anything in common ideologically with the modern left and would not agree with them on their lunacies regarding race/gender/etc.
