Just a few days ago I read the claim that a computer had passed the Turing Test. Still listening and enjoying: Muezzin, Spanish guitar, bilabial fricatives, Terrence McKenna...like.

Wow. I want to read up on that. But actually that is really old tech. I think the big black budget secret projects were about at that point circa 1995.
