I disagree. I'm fairly certain that nonexistent fathers are the source of those degenerate criminals. Shitty parents of either sex are a problem but the absence of a responsible father is what truly creates misfits.

I think you are nearly also getting to the possibility that kids from fatherless homes do badly because they inherited shitty personality traits and/or low IQs from their dads.

Apparently kids with step fathers do even worse than kids with single mothers so there's definitely something else going on. Two parents in the home isn't the answer to the problem after the initial relationship has broken down. You're actually better of if your mother says single after your dad leaves, even though you will be poorer in every respect which you would expect to have a negative effect.

The majority of "nonexistent fathers" have no choice. The mother makes the decision to keep the father out of the child's life and the courts and police enforce it. Men do not have rights in family court, and that is the root of the problem.

Agreed that is part of the problem. I'm commenting more about the Fathers who just up and leave.
