If arranged it so when I die, my body is literally planted underneath a sapling or seed, and a large tree grew & survived because of the nutrients my body supplied, would I theoretically continue to live on in some “form” forever, just as part of a tree?

I would just do this new “alkaline hydrosis” or whatever, where they get all this pressurized, boiling water that gets all your flesh away, then just a skeleton is left. Idk what to with my skeleton after that. Probably put it inside of a closet where I lived to scare some new inhabitants, but that’s a maybe.

I've always wanted to donate my skeleton to someone who might appreciate it, artfully.

NOT donate it to "science" (for some students to mock and play with).

You can have it. I won't be needing it. I don't care about weird stuff, mockery, or whatever. I'll be past all that.

I think bones are neat, not to be feared or grim. Everything dies and has remains. Might as well make use of them, whether you consider them a curiosity or make my skull an ashtray or grind me up as an aphrodisiac.

How about I get the license, I find some streaming service that will allow us (you) on it, and I create the world’s first 24/7, 365 “Memento Mori” stream™ dedicated to you and remembering your existence, and it will also serve as a reminder that we will all return to the ground one day, so we should enjoy the time we have remaining? Bring back the old tradition, just digitally? And we can make all/any donations go to a charity of your choice!

I don't need a memorial or people to remember me. I might hope that if I can get my shit together and finish my story, then people might take note of that - but that's it.
