I'll give you an upvote but, um, it might be a good idea to allow the mod log to be shown, perhaps after a warning page. Otherwise there is a 'memory hole' that could be abused in the future.

Excuse my ignorance, but subs already normally have a /s/sub/about/log right? So after banning, if the /s/sub/ is overwritten, then perhaps just don't touch the previously mentioned log page and it stays up? There's already a hyperlink to the link on each /s/sub page, so it's just code to copy into the banned page to autogenerate it there too.

Yeah that's not a bad idea, it would probably have to do with how the routing.py file works if I had to guess, it probably redirects any subdirectories of banned subs to the banned page. We'd have to add an exemption to this rule for the log to make it work
