I disagree with your opening 2 paragraphs, but I strongly agree with the idea that things can be clarified. I think the PoD is fine, but you are correct in that it is subjective. The "law" is simple, but it needs an abundance of case examples to back it up and clarify.

It's easy to separate Nazism from violence if you actually understand it. Same with communism - and capitalism, which are verifiably much worse.
