No, no it is not. The only thing that evolved quickly was the move to GMO crops, and a swing towards poorer health, and lower nutritional intakes.
In addition, there are simply more people, and they are more judgmental than ever. At one point, men were allowed to be debonair, and that was seen as a positive trait. Similarly, one could refer to some woman as hansom. Now you can either fit into the current stereo types of gender politics, or you are not allowed to be heard.
