swatting isn't something just online. people could spoof phone calls long before the internet. they just used the internet to find that information which probaby was easily found at fault of the victim. I used to think the information on the internet was forever but it could actually be very temporary. a lot of the information is on magnetic hard disks that will not even last thousands of years like the dead sea scrolls. one emp could wipe everything out. maybe the next pissed off goggle employyee will run through the server farm with a emp blaster instead of shooting up people. they would need to implate the whole internet onto some type of metal like the sci3nt0loogiiszzts do lhaha... I realize the internet is real...but I think it's virtual and not real too.
