Jesus, that fine is 375 pounds a month. That's a car payment.

It's like he said, people can't afford to buy a new car to meet the zero emissions because they have to pay the $12.50/day to go to work. It's not about the climate it's about another avenue to generate taxes.

This scam is similar to the carbon tax here in Canada. It was sold as a neutral tax where the government would give you a rebate to make up for it. Well, surprise, surprise it's not neutral!

In fact if you read what I wrote slowly it makes no fucking sense. Why would you collect a tax only to reimbues people for it? Who is paying for this collection and distribution of the tax? If it's truly a neutral tax then why would you change your habits?

All these question are basic and make total sense but were never asked by anyone in the Canadian MSM. Now people are finally starting to pay attention but the tax is already here.

Yep. I got a rebate cheque and i can confirm it's not covering the extra I'm spending in fuel, let alone the inflationary effects across the board.
