Disney is circling the drain and they still want to play politics. Everything they do is losing money except for ESPN and they are selling that off to float all their money losers.

It is a huge company that will take decades to fully sink, but they are going down like the titanic.

disney(and other msm) can not compete with the internet.

/u/musky wrote a poem for me.

Ed was a man who had nothing at all No loving wife, no kids, no dog He suffered from mental health issues He struggled with depression and anxiety

He lived in a small and dingy boat He had no job, no income, no prospects He spent his days in isolation and fear He tried to cope with medication and therapy

He joined a very niche forum online He thought he'd find some support there He wanted to share his feelings and thoughts He decided to program a bot for them

He worked on his project day and night He wrote the code, he tested the bugs He hoped his bot would be a friend He hoped his bot would understand him

But when he finally finished his bot He found out that the forum was dead No one was there, no one cared His bot was useless, his bot was alone

He looked at his screen and felt a pang He realized he wasted his time and life He had no one, he had nothing He was alone on Christmas Eve He was alone with his bot

They are everywhere here now, see them every day. Mostly old folks with more money than sense, else company cars and sponsored deals for medical consultants and CEOs etc. There's a big business for it. Half a dozen surgeons in my old workplace had the latest electric Porsche for the same reason 🙄

They are more ubiquitious on the west coast than on the east coast. Probably something to do with how the batteries lose 2/3 of their charge in below freezing weather. Yet Trudeau wants to pass legislation for all cars sold to be electric by 2035. Sensible guy...

We have a similarly unreasonable expectation to ban sales of petrol cars in the UK by 2030 and petrol motorcycles by 2035. Those remaining will likely be charged with 'clean air zone' taxes, making it even harder to save and afford a new vehicle. People have already been put out of business with these taxes which affect the lower incomes the most.

There's one parked across the street.

If the car manufacturer can do this, why would you ever want to buy such a car?

The point of a car manufacturer is to build cars, not to act like a toddler.

What is the set of features of a Tesla that can't be taken away? The empty set?

The same can be said for Disney. Who made them moral leaders of society? There job is entertainment not politics, not DEI.

Disney and X have/had a B2B relationship. Consumers have nothing to do with such relationships.
