It's okay for websites where you don't need to log in. Never use it for banking websites/email/facebook/twitter/reddit - those will just suspend an account for logging in via Tor.

Tor is bad news.

Its bad reputation comes from a safe place.

Don’t use tor.

Actually I'm posting here via Tor only (for now saidit allows it, but there are random Cloudflare captcha problems when logging in).

Because I live in an authoritarian country, and can be theoretically prosecuted for some of the posts/comments. I mean, saidit admins are maybe nice people, but basically randos, and I can't bet on them not answering the state request for IPs.

Besides, I have Tor opened all the time anyway, because half of foreign websites is banned (in fact Tor itself is banned, but there is a working way around - so called obfs4 bridges).
