Well, from watching the video, it can noticed that the robot was about to grab a chess piece but this dumbass kid made his move too quick and just got in the the robot's way so the robot grabbed his finger instead. This was not the robot's fault, the child broke the safety protocols.

It shouldn't take enough force to break a finger to pick up a chess piece. The company that does these demonstrations obviously do not have sufficient safety precautions in place.

I'm guessing this robot was probably originally designed for industrial purposes, not playing chess.

    This would be all over the news non-stop if that one person were said to die from a virus that pharmaceutical companies could profit from.
