You could have an outfit with sharp buttons, and you make new button holes each time. It would be interesting to evaluate whether the material is experiencing elastic deformation, so it will continue to recover. As opposed to a partial plastic deformation, which will eventually fatigue the bonds and recover less and less.
Wow. A material that heals when rubbed? Sounds like a future condom candidate.
