Good they were shit anyways. The screen would get significantly darker when you put the glasses on at the theaters you couldn't see shit in darker scenes.

Yeah I think the glasses are what really killed 3d tvs and 3d movies. No one wants to wear the glasses, they're a pain. My parents had one with LCD shutter glasses that had to be recharged every viewing... very annoying for something so expensive. Once the novelty wore off, no one cared anymore

3D has a place in entertainment but it's a tool in the toolbox. Like any tool, you need to use it for the right job.

What we have been getting is 3D on everything and it's become annoying.... I don't mind it in theaters on select movies but at home it's expensive and cumbersome.

On one hand it's good that they're not making much in the way of 3d films and televisions any more, because I no longer feel the need to spend money!

Its useless anyways if the movie doesn't have action scenes tbh
