Still he had very strong opinions on things that he could not proof. ;-)

But he had some weird ideas of his own: He introduced the idea of particles going back in time, becoming anti-particles.

We should also be careful with ignoring and denying things that we don't want to be true.

Very true. Intentional ignorance is very dangerous, but it's common.
