All they did was name streets after him. No one listened. He said (and I'm paraphrasing) "if they put us in jail, then turn that jail into a paradise." Look at black communities in major cities. Why are they still so shitty? Even shittier than they were in the 60's, which we're led to believe was like slavery days. Why haven't these predominantly black communities thrived and become middle class utopias? Because anyone with any sense moved out.

I mean, in the context of their own, sovereign states they could be. I think it's worth it to try. The recording artist Akon made some news last week by proposing an intentional community in the Caribbean. That should be done. I think it would be to everyone's benefit to contribute to the success of such a plan. Being realistic, not under Akon's direction, but as a corporate effort of black elites with the resources of the US government available to them.

On YouTube you can find these old news clips from 1957-65 of network news propagandists doing stick-mic interviews of ordinary working White people in communities like Little Rock Arkansas, seeking to humiliate and shame them for the entertainment of New York audiences by getting them to frankly voice their fears of how desegregation would negatively impact their homes.

Looking back though, how can anyone say these people were anything less than prescient? They predicted that desegregation would destroy their communities and we can look back from 60 years hence and see that these communities have been destroyed. Little Rock Arkansas today is a dilapidated, crime-distressed shithole which starkly contrasts with the lovely, safe, humble homescapes seen in the background of these old news clips.

With the cause and effect plainly visible, progressives have only a matrix of tortuous coping narratives for why their plan caused exactly the disaster predicted by the people they inflicted it upon. They have no explanation for why black communities were healthier and better economically self-sustaining under segregation.

Weirdest of all, these old clips are posted up as virtue porn for progressive audiences. But, like dumping ice water on a drunk, the spell is broken by simply posting "Were they wrong though?". Without even asking what you mean they launch immediately into recitation of the aforementioned canned coping narratives for why making these areas more black made them worse objectively along all social and economic metrics.

Progressives know what happened. They simply have to cope with it in the manner of a Vatican mathematician reviewing Copernicus' proofs. The "Truth" that race isn't real, black dysfunction is caused by White prosperity, and that post-revolutionary conditions are invariably superior to pre-revolutionary conditions must be sustained, damn the evidence of one's own eyes.

"Red lining" didn't have anything to do with keeping investment out of black areas. It was to protect White areas from being damaged by the encroachment of blacks.

The complaint of "red lining" as if it were something done to blacks is its own refutation. It's just a reification of the observed fact that blacks are incapable of prospering on their own. Their own, all black, black-run nations are shitholes. Infrastructure left by European and Asian colonists are not maintained, but left to decay and are eventually pillaged for cash on the scrap. Blacks don't build anything. In the US, every community which White people were forced to flee under state-enforced desegregation decayed into shitholes. The cause for this is in the nature of blacks.

Well said. Central Africa, where most blacks come from, isn’t conducive to increasing IQ: it’s isolated, is warm all the time, has a perpetual growing season. There was/is no need for planning growing seasons, making warm clothes, inventing wheels or mathematics. All that’s needed is an IQ of about 70 and they’re fine.

Redlining was the obvious policy that they openly performed.

There was a policy of jacking up the interest rates for non-whites.

The banksters have been working towards their divide and conquer agenda for decades.

They've recently turned their pubic media machine towards the white community, and are now pushing for integration with the black community, which they previously covertly sabotaged.

The civil rights act sealed the deal for all. It finally made all Americans 14th amendment serfs with "civil rights" but not constitutional protections.

Very true, but again, why did they fall for it? Blacks have been the victims of redlining long before the Civil Rights movement, but middle class black communities thrived until when? 1965, when the Civil Rights Act was signed. This liberal idea that black people needed help (even though more black families had two parents in the home than white families), and it evolved into an excuse to fail, imo.

Add to it the War on Drugs, which has impacted these communities more so than any other, and yeah, I agree, the deck was stacked. That has changed. What new policies have done that damage? It's been more than half a century and things have gotten worse not better despite all the liberal policies and welfare. When do these communities stop killing themselves? Some of, if not all of, the answer needs to come from those communities.

Finally, I just saw this post (tik tok), where someone was using Baltimore as an example of how the systemic racism argument is no longer valid. Freddie Grey happened in a Black city, with a black city council, mayer, police chief, and 3/6 of the officers involved were black. This woman argued that the only cause of the problems in Baltimore is still white supremacy and systemic racism. When does that bullshit wear out? When can we just get over slavery?

Both are rising economic powers, with the rise piggybacking on the technological boom of 19th-20th century Euro-American innovation. Neither present any evidence of genocide, much less ones where White populations are observed overtaking the native populations. It's hard to discern what counterpoint you were attempting by citing them. It's possible that you just don't know anything beyond a programmed reflex to antiwhite animus.

        The Left assumes that segregation was dreamt up by demonic minions of Satan. They can’t imagine there’d be any reason why segregation should exist. They can’t imagine Southern whites being intelligent enough to keep low IQ violent blacks away from white schools and white neighborhoods.
