Honestly, if they had spent the last year building up pretty much anyone but Biden, Harris or Clinton, Trump would have some competition in the next election. As it stands now though, he's going to win and by a fair margin.

Even though a lot of people are "anyone but Trump", Biden is not an option people want either.

Trump is going to get back in the White House baring some major changes in the current trends.

Saying shit like that is pretty much the only thing that could prevent him from getting into the white house. No he won't and saying so is literally the same thing as TDS except you actually want it to happen.

Trump on paper was actually a fairly decent president. People's emotions regarding him, and his flair for the dramatic where he stokes these emotions, is what made him a bad president and why he lost re-election.

A president's primary job is as a figure head and unifier for the country. This is where Trump failed.

But both foreign and domestic policy he actually did quite well.

Retribution for political opposition would be something that actually would be valid grounds for impeachment, unlike everything else they tried to get him on.

I disagree.

The Democrats will never stop and will double down unless you send them a very strong message that this behavior will no longer be tolerated. And there's only one way to do that.

They violating Constitutional rights at will, They're violating attorney-client privilege. They trying to throw attorneys in prison for the rest of their lives simply for representing their client.

We cannot have a Constitutional Republic like this. The United States is dying right before our eyes.

I definitely get where you are coming from. There is some truth to that, but I don't think that it will work the way you think.

I think this will just lead to them tripling down if that makes sense.

Biden's a creep with no conviction, porridge personified. If he had any party loyalty he wouldn't be running again. Out of the 2024 crop I like Vivek Ramaswamy, it's too bad the electoral system is shit and he'll never get a chance.

Although he says he's not interested, there are rumors floating around that Vivek may be positioning himself for a Trump VP pick.

I think that would be an awesome choice. Either him or Tim Scott would make me very happy.

CNN just wants to create drama; if Hitler could be elected they would paint him as "a charismatic challenger we will be hearing a lot of in the near future".

CNN is just a direct feed from the CIA with some filler added to it.

I don't know... maybe if they had candidates that anyone even CLOSE to the middle, much less the right, are not outright scared of because they are so radical.... or so old they cannot stay awake. These the BEST candidates the democratic party has to offer? You no better than the Republicans and their "choices."
