No kidding. Where the heck are they getting their stats?

These takes are idiotic. Any republican President would be sending money to ukraine as well. Inflation is something both dems and republicans started and there is no magic wand to fix the economy. The fed has trade offs to consider and they are doing their best to unwind bad policy.

Oh ok.. the idiotic take isnt that there's no magic wand to fix inflation or the economy and there's trade offs to consider, but we should send more money in one year to Ukraine than we did in 10 years in Afghanistan..

Sounds reasonable..

What? I never suggested sending money to ukraine.

It's clear that Republicans would have done the same. They voted for the Ukraine deals and Trump initiated the first Covid stimulus. The difference is that the Democrats are pretending that inflation isn't happening and that things are going well, and they continue to implement measures that exacerbate the problem. Biden hasn't even managed to lift the vaccine mandate for foreign travelers to bring more tourists to the US.

I don't know, Trump was solidly against new wars abroad. He even wanted to stop the war in Syria, but was overruled by the deep state. He wanted to withdraw our troops from Germany (why do we have troops in Germany?) and was blocked again. I don't buy this "both sides" nonsense.

$20 trillion of brand new US dollars were printed since 2020. You think that might be the cause of inflation?

Of course, but both sides were responsible for the money printing and neither party has a solution at this point.

It's not "both sides". Gimme a break. One side despises the American people and tells us at every opportunity. The other side loves America and Americans and wants what's best for us. Such as not running the printing presses day and night causing runaway inflation.
