That's exactly right.

Moreover, we are congratulating someone, for doing their job... As sad as it is to say.

Instead of that, what should be discussed is how 3am voting on a bill tactics, like 3am vote dumps, are not only acceptable but really the standard, or how was he the only one to push back on this.

Someone pushing through a garbage bill, and it getting stuck by representatives who disagree is a feature of the process, not a bug. Pushing fast changes isn't what the US system was designed to do, in fact, if it happened, you know the bill is either really good or really bad. In almost every instance for the past 100 years, they're all really bad.
