Many don’t know much of the experimentation on Coronviruses happened in North Carolina under Ralph Baric using “humanized mice” with aborted fetal tissue grafted in to their respiratory tract.

    For fuck's sake: The research on coronavirus in bats is exactly the research we need to understand and help with coronavirus outbreaks in the future.

    The halting of the research now must be some kind of deathwish. CoVID 19 caused the deaths of about half a million americans. How many is your target?

    Needless to say, the research did not involve gain of function.

    Sure.

    But I suspect that Rand Paul neither particularly wants to murder Americans, nor does he particularly care about the coronavirus research.

    I suspect that he figures that if some voters believe that the research was constructing gain function virus' then it'll be to his political advantage, and he's merely indifferent to murdering Americans.

    Neither of those things would count as conspiracy theories. There's really only Rand Paul invovled.

    Ralph Baric pioneered the respiratory model of humanized mice which he shared with Shi Zheng Li and other Wuhan scientists. He is a co-author of one of the coronavirus ‘gain of function’ studies that are suspected to be the source of SARS Cov 2. Baric did much of the laboratory work for this study in North Carolina.

    They grew new genetically engineered coronavirus hybrids and infected mice with lungs made from abortions.
