What? How would [some racist right wing militia man] possibly be chilling to a decent person?

After this hit the internet one of her 'soldiers' did $10k worth of property damage to my land with heavy equipment and the law said tough shit we have no jurisdiction, defend yourself. How 'bout that?

Edited.

defend yourself

Yes.

Of course I am. But when you've exhausted all legal options and the FBI says not to defend yourself (only monitor the situation), your lawyer reminds you constantly of the pitfalls of deadly force, but the local Sherriff and County Zoning and Planning tells you you are on your own, what do you do? Yes, I'm licensed and bonded. There's no such thing as government protections for those that want to live peacefully.

You could become unpeaceful, in a very discreet way, or increase the distance between yourself and whatever is going on there.

More realistically you could just accept that you'll be attacked and can't do anything about it. Probably most people aren't prepared to become a stealth avenger of the night, but rolling over and accepting that kind of thing (depending on what exactly happened) could have pretty negative long term effects on you.

Hope you're able to work out a good solution.

I'm legally disabled and because of that if I end up jailed I lose my disability benefits, and these people know that. However this is getting to a point that doesn't matter any more.

It's a work in progress. I'm following my lawyer's advice and reporting the death threats to the (corrupt) Sheriff. Last week I just received my third death threat from another couple that moved here from Portland Oregon area. I was born 350 miles from here. The others recently moved here from the Detroit area, both are focusing their toxicity on me because they are unhappy miserable people that fucked off most of their life and now can't retire.

Lastly, I'm licensed and bonded for protection if these people attempt to carry out their threats against me. Government is hands off thus enabling this to continue. It's a 'Catch 22' situation.

Too bad there's not some 'totally uninvolved' person who could show up and make some corrections. That's not a great situation to be in. Whatever you can safely do to extricate yourself would be the way to go. That kind of thing wears on you more than you sometimes realize while you're in it. Being able to relax in your own place has immense value.

Running from a problem is not a solution. The rhetoric isn't new, it's nationwide, and this is my small town sample. My harassers are from the Portland OR, and Detroit MI areas, surprised? The County told me it's up to me to stop this as they have no jurisdiction. The District Judge told me I have a 'right' to my private property and these people absolutely hate that, so I'm attacked with threats and vandalism. I'm taking the County's advice as legal options have played out.

Sounds odd that people come from distant states to attack you. What if one of them died while trying to vandalize your place? Maybe they tried to cut into an electrical line, or fell under the tractor while trying to move it?

Odd, I agree. I see it as people that left an area of the county consumed with toxic politics and brought their political baggage to my door. Thousands of dollars in legal fees and property damage has been my cross to bear living in a county rife with political corruption. Have you noticed the increase of homicides in this country since BLM's 'Defund the Police'?
