This is quite simple with just a small step back.

Twitter is claiming authority over the man elected to the office of the presidency. In other words, Twitter claims power and legitimacy over him.

Now it will fall to the population to decide which side is right. Are we represented by Twitter or by the president? As it has been all year, sure looks like about 50-50 to me.

Twitter is a private site and they can censor whoever they like including the President. Stop using their platform.

Exactly. Trump could make his own site in about 2 days. Everyone interested in seeing his messages would definitely register.
