That's right. It should really read "by Democrat governor"..

The follow up should read, "democrats murdered a Trump supporter execution style, which led to the request".

That's just what democrats do.

A sound and prudent move on the part of the Sherrifs of the various counties that comprise the state of Oregon. PPB has around a thousand officers and an additional 300 civilian support staff. Whatever is going on in Portland that the PPB can't handle should have been tasked to the Oregon National Guard. A governor who wouldn't understand that intuitively shouldn't be reelected simply due to confirmed incompetence.

I may be wrong on this, but I do not believe the governor has any authority over any sheriff's department. They are a completely separate entity elected by those in the county only.
