Many people see the assassinations as an act of war, not the responds on it that didn't even kill anyone. And indeed the US has been doing the same thing for some decades now.

Israel has been bombing the Iranians for a long time already, and the targets were on their hit-list. It seems to me that this is their war.

I wouldn't doubt they were hoping for an Archduke Franz Ferdinand reaction.

Because assassinating their general out of nowhere was just a friendly salute.

The current Iranian regime is nothing short of evil though. They would be worse than the Nazi if they had the resources to invest in their plans. We're just lucky they're dirt poor and can't afford any of their dark fantasies of wiping out all the jews and oppressing all the women. This is extremely obvious, the way they dress, the things they say, and the stuff they have done all point to them wanting to destroy other nations. I'm obviously talking about their regime and not the people, but they literally tell us there is no way they will reconcile anything with infidels, especially anyone who is friendly with Israel. Until that regime changes their rhetoric, the smart thing to do is to keep them in check. The dumb thing to do is think they will be friendly with us when they have declared their hatred for ages.

Dude didn't you know Tel-Aviv is super accepting of the LGBT community? I doubt Iran is, and that's why they're evil.

Obviously, launching missiles against the most powerful country is an act of war. And USA have the most powerful media's in the world, and so can say that is an act of war and what is not depending of their interests. The strongest win, that's a law of Nature.
