I think it's a lovely photo, with the exception of the gun

I'm not a big fan of the stock and the sling looks like it could use some work, but other than that it seems alright.

Reminds me of people in 3rd world and developing countries who include in family photos a favorite weapon or two. But what's important for survival in other countries, is however evidence of idiocy in the 5th richest country (GDP/capita).

Not just a gun, pretty amazing wits, skill, and reaction time in using the gun.

I'm beginning to think he's having a laugh at everyone who takes his account seriously. It's just so far over the top it's like out of a cartoon.

Which proves my point about the problems of provoking others so that you can kill them and claim it's self defense. A state legal system has now let others know that they can feel free to do the same. This is the state of gun ownership in the US and in dirt poor countries, whereas in civilized countries this doesn't tend to happen.

Yes, good for the community support. But you know that's not the issue, or what he did to provoke a response while walking around protestors with an AR, and then shooting those who got too close. Other gravy seals weren't doing that.

Yes - I did not see the fire extinguisher activity. I saw much of the trial and the videos of the shooting. I am mainly puzzled about the first person he shot, which seemed unnecessary, or was at least unnecessary after the first shot, or even if he had considered a warning shot (as many do).

        those who got too close.

That's an interesting way to describe people trying to kill him.
