Man made climate change is a hoax.

I agree. But planting trees is good.

Planting trees is great.

Awards all around!

After discovering The Juice Media on SaidIt a few months back I watched their Honest Ads back catalog. A few years ago they still bought the Climate Change hype, as did I. In their recent ad I think they may have switched. What do you think? /s/conspiracy/comments/c9s/honest_government_ad_the_abc/

I can't tell if it's part of the overall satire or if it's embedded satire within the satire or both, or even what they're thinking.

It sounded like they still agree with the man-made climate change scam.

Well intentioned, but mislead.

I was hoping they got woke.

Hopefully soon. It's tough to come around to reality. The propaganda gets you in childhood. It's a dogma.

Dogma and tribalism. I might have been more skeptical about Climate Change earlier on if I'd always leaned right.

Me too. However, having been proven wrong on a number of issues, I have a profound respect for the right.

I don't necessarily agree, but I have found that the right is much more willing to listen, and change their view; based on clearly presented evidence.

The organized left struggles to accept change. IMO.

I would have said I'm on the left in the past, but that word has lost much of it's previous meaning.

I never found either side was good at listening.

"They" are intentionally destroying the left. From union busting, to "feminism", to SJWs, to blatantly rigged elections, and now full term abortions, etc. The "organized" corporate-left resembles an insane asylum and nothing of the authentic progressive-left. I hate even saying I lean left now. I lean Green, but will not abide astroturf.

I'm still not into religion or conservative sex issues but over the last few years I've grown to consume almost 50/50 media. Conservative-liberal, religious-atheist, whatever as long as they have authentic views. I may not agree with them but at least I'll understand them and their context. I've changed a lot of my views and am even more committed to others, yet respect the differences. I never would have thought I'd be for guns, Holocost and Climate denial, etc etc etc.

The important figures are:

  • The difference (not ratio) between the produced and absorbed quantities of greenhouse gases.
  • The proportion of the atmosphere containing the gases.

The first is, for want of a better word, the deficit. The second is, seriously for want of a better word, the debt (though the "zero" point is not "no greenhouse gases"). It doesn't matter how much we produce, how much nature produces, how much volcanoes emit… What matters is how much is being added every year, and the difference between the level that it's at and the level that it should be; we should be paying attention to the size of those numbers to determine the significance of this issue.

Dude. You are lost.

You've come to the right place though. JasonCarswell are left leaning, and I can help show you the way back to reality.

??? I'm not even saying that the issue is significant, though I believe that it is! I'm just saying that we're focussing on the wrong numbers to determine whether it is significant.

We should be focusing on the net change in amount, and the difference between what is and what should be. Not gross figures. Does that make me right-leaning? I don't understand this whole "left right" thing.
