Of course, no one in the medical field wants to become rich, and the only profits to be had are from skimming money. Like in the movie road house. Profits are theft? Is that right?

Follow up Question: How would you define a black market?

Of course many people in the medical field want to become rich. And the ones who do, become anesthesologists or surgeons or oncologists. Or, better yet, go into pharma or medical equipment design and manufacture.

It's like with lawyers. Lots of them became lawyers to get rich. The ones working in the Public Defender's office obviously did not. They had different motivations in life.

No one gets a job at Planned Parenthood to get rich. It's not where the money is.

Follow up Question: How would you define a black market?

Trade in illegal goods and services.

So we can safely assume the motives of all people from the known thoughts in your head.

And according to you, it is legal to sell the body parts of babies, therefor it is not a black market.

Got it. Perfectly clear now.

I think I've been pretty clear that exceptions exist. But we can pretty easily figure out the rules that those are exceptions to.

And according to you, it is legal to sell the body parts of babies

It isn't broadly "legal to sell the body parts of babies." It is legal, under some circumstances, to provide fetal tissue to universities and laboratories to conduct medical research.

Of course, there are "exceptions to rules". And providing fetal tissues for money to cover costs is neither sales, nor are they human body parts, no matter how developed they are. I am following along with you the best I can, as you spoon feed me this information you are so knowledgeable about.

If I see the words "medical research", "non profit" or "fetus", I am to not Question these things, and am to trust the science.

Thanks! Got it now!

Obviously you're not. You're just making up weird arguments and assigning them to me.

Does PP provide fetal tissue to research laboratories at cost? Yes.

Does PP run a secret, profitable scheme to sell fetus livers to a Chinese pedophile cult with a thirst for blood? No. Take off the tinfoil hat.

I don't know where any of this is coming from. I am simply agreeing with you. It's not as though I have asked for you to reconcile any of these strange statements against your opening remarks:

They're incinerated as medical waste. This happens, at least, 99% of the time. Whether there's some fuckery with a small percentage of them, I'm not in a position to guess.

How strange of you to make all of these very odd statements. Either way, I shall take your latest comments to be your actual beliefs at this time.

Question! Is a research laboratory somehow ethically superior to a Chinese pedophile cult? And if so why?

Question! Is a research laboratory somehow ethically superior to a Chinese pedophile cult? And if so why?

Of course.

The labs are trying to understand the unlimited duplicative capacity and unlimited differentiation capacity of ES cells. That's tech that could plausibly lead to limb regrowth, age reversal, and a better understanding of cancer.

They don't need a steady supply of aborted fetuses. The nature of ES cells means you can take a single tissue sample and use it indefinitely.

A Chinese pedophile cult ordering a steady supply of fetal livers would, obviously, not confer any particular benefits upon anyone, and would require a steady supply of aborted fetuses.

Since it's orders of magnitude worse, it's something certain people want to be true, because then it would justify their worldview.

These sound like pretty complex fetal cells, seeing as how the lab needs to cover the cost of shipping the cells, and can grow their own tissue samples to use indefinitely. In fact, they sound like Schrödinger's cat, existing in two states of being.. In fact their existence, price and need seems highly dependent on the argument you wish to make at the moment. Along with a secret Chinese cult that you claim that you don't believe in, but that you believe others do, who wish for them to exist to justify their world view, against your world view.

It's all so derivative of what I can only assume are assumptions made on your part. What one could call a a matrix of projections in order support your arguments. Or to put it more bluntly, a huge stack of bullshit you've made up in your head. In order to justify abortions, that you call healthcare, from the evil Chinese and Christian religious groups. Of which you believe, only one of, actually exists, while still apposing the other.... Somehow.

Simply amazing!

Your sarcasm has now officially reached the level where I can't tell whether you're trying to to communicate something or whether you're just dancing around with your fingers up your nose.

All I'm doing is telling it like it is. PP sometimes provides fetal tissue to research laboratories at cost. They are not running a large-scale fetal organs marketplace. There's no market for that.
