What if it is the testing material or process that introduces the microplastics? Maybe some of the lab techs wear polyester.

Highly-processed products contained the most microplastics per gram.

Mean U.S. adult exposure from consuming these proteins is >11,000 microplastics/year.

How many molecule sized things do you think you eat every year LOL this is nothing.
