The damages seem excessive to me, the award is three times Giuliani's net worth.

The punitive damages were higher than a lot of people were expecting. But this sort of behaviour needs to be discouraged.

And it didn't seem to work this time. Rudy Giuliani sued again by former election workers who now want a court order against further defamatory remarks
