Fox News hurt everyone's freedom of press, by not standing up against the pathetically weak lawsuit from Dominion.

The crazy judge basically bench-ruled them guilty and that the jury only needed to choose damages, in the most overtly abnormal court case possible, by unilaterally declaring several things as fact, without supporting evidence or precedence, and similarly ruling them unable to use basic defenses, core to the charges. Also, the extreme abuse of investigatory powers given against them, ensured their case would be tried on internal assumptions, feelings, and innuendo, that one would normally expect to require a high bar to acquire, (ie evidence showing something was there). Instead, the judge allowed them to de-pants the company fully, leak the internal data in the most out of context and attacking way possible.

It was a total rule-less court hit job, with the court support, like many we've seen lately.

They had many very fundamental libel and freedom of press defenses that could be strongly made, but they chose not to.

Fox News laying down so quickly was a travesty to the public and stinks of controlled failure.

Is Smartmatic in on this gig too, or did they just sea a dead horse to beat?
